"We approached creating this song like a piece of musical theatre, our member Michelle writing the lyrics and melody with the idea of being on a stage in front of a crowd that is taking her for granted.

"Play Me" evokes the feeling of a rock song used in a scene from a film, capturing a specific moment in time.

 

Our producer, The Raveonettes' Sune Rose Wagner, added the finishing touches to this track with her guitar part. We hope you feel empowered by the confidence, swagger, and power of this song."
