I received a Tascam Porta-02 for my 13th birthday and spent my teenage years learning how to multi-track. "4-Track," taken from my upcoming record, The Tower (out September 3rd), is a nostalgic nod to the innocence of recording simple music for fun. 

 

This song is also about both the work it takes to make a lasting romantic relationship and to create a good recording, including the regrets one can have looking back at either.
