It has a deceptively optimistic feel that somehow creates an eeriness to it (which makes sense, since the inspiration came from horror movies). A very unique and cool track.

"Riches is the manifestation of an ongoing dialogue between Catherine McCandless (of Young Galaxy) and Wynn Holmes (choreographer). It is a multidisciplinary collaboration of music, dance and performance. These songs are the first iteration of the project, and take a narrative approach to themes concerning the performance of creative rituals, identity, transgression and devotion.

Riches' second single, "Thief In Your Eye", was given a narrative form inspired by folk horror films."
