New single from Adrian Sutherland, "Right Here"
The Skinny Review:
Here's another song from Adrian Sutherland, and this one brings the twangy guitars in all the right ways. This song is a toe tapper with the bit of a throwback feel to it. It wouldn’t be out of place in any 90s CanCon playlist, and it's at the top of our must-hear song list right now.
In Their Own Words:“Right Here
is a song about being there for the people that you love and care about
– and also having those people that you love and care about being there
for you, too,” says Sutherland. “The music video gives a glimpse of my
life in the North and shares with viewers some of the people and places
that mean the most to me.”
Right Here
is the first single from Adrian Sutherland’s debut solo album (to be
released September 17, 2021). It was written by Sutherland with Tim Vesely and Colin Cripps.
It was produced and engineered by Vesely at The Woodshed Studio in
Toronto, who also plays guitar and bass on the track. Cripps can be
heard on electric guitar, with Lyle Molzan on drums. The song was mastered by João Carvalho, with artwork by long-time artistic designer Nick Perreault.
